I Can Do Bad All By Myself

Last night I rented Tyler Perry's "I Can Do Bad All By Myself" and loved it! He truly is a talented man. And look at those lips! They look better than mine. The acting is great (as in all of his films) and the music is amazing. I'm hoping the soundtrack will come out soon. If you haven't seen it, go out and rent it tonight. If you haven't seen any of his films, which is crazy, go out and rent "Diary of a Mad Black Woman." Classic.

Brew Creative holiday video

I've been working at Brew Creative for about two months now. Every year they produce a holiday video and post it on their website. Although I wasn't involved in really anything to do with this video, I thought I'd post it for all to see... if anyone reads this blog.

Edward McGowen

Edward McGowan is an Edinburgh based illustrator with a keen eye for bright colors and rough textures. The retro style works really nice with his choice of colors. And, who doesn't love Edinburgh, Scotland?

Glade Tin Design Contest

For the past seven weeks (since the end of September 2009) I've been working as a judge for the Glade Tin Design Contest. Anyone can go online (I should say "could" technically since it's over) and "design" a tin based off of different shapes and colors given. Of the 100,737 entries I judged, maybe 50 of them were decent. That's just sad. I can't tell you how many times I'd see the exact same "design" and, yes, they were by different people.

This has to be one of my favorite entries that I've read. The person titled it "Splat" and the description reads, "I don't understand how to do this. Obviously." Really? You think you even have a chance in the world to win if you write a dumb ass description like that!? I wish those people wouldn't have even entered the contest. Waste of my time.
